Farm Bill Update: The Good News and the Bad News 

Thank you for your advocacy on the Farm Bill.  The House of Representatives approved H.R. 2419, a five-year Farm Bill ($286 billion) on a 231-191 vote. To read a brief update of the Farm Bill from the United States Converence of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) click here.

The Farm Bill will now be debated in the Senate and there are still important decisions to be made.  We will continue to post action alers and updates coming from the USCCB, Catholic Relief Services, and the National catholic Rural Life Conference.
