Catholic Charities - Diocese of Youngstown

Catholic Charities Agencies in the Diocese of Youngstown participate in a variety of community outreach projects, including:

COACH - Catholic Charities Regional Agency (CCRA) offers the Case Management Outreach and Advocacy for Our Community's Homeless (C.O.A.C.H.), which provides collaborative outreach and assistance to homeless individuals.  Last year, 499 people received homeless outreach services and 208 received assistance with transportation and obtaining legal proof of identification through CCRA.

Benefit Bank - All of the Catholic Charities Agencies in the Diocese of Youngstown use a computer program to help low-income individuals and families access the public benefit programs for which they are eligible.  In 2009, 113 households participated in the Ohio Benefit Bank and 105 were eligible for some type of assistance.
